How do I resize picture in Picasa? I was surprised when I found out people have a hard time looking for the resize button. I’m not surprised because if you look logically through all the Picasa buttons, you can never find a resize button. I’m going to teach you not only the way to resize, but a batch resize.

1. First of all, chose the photo you want to resize. If you want to just resize one photo, then click once to select on the photo. For multiple photos (if you still haven’t figured out at this time), hold CTRL and click on the wanted the picture to select it.

2. Look at the bottom section of Picasa, you should see a row of icons. See the one with the folder that says Export? Click on that.

3. Here’s the magic. Select your size but by default, they’re at 800. They will usually resize the longest section of your photo. Means, if your photo is either on portrait or landscape mode, it will always choose the longest dimension and resize them to 800. Click OK and it will resize the photo(s) and pop up the folder with the resized photo(s).
